Kyron Smith

Kyron is a student at the Ford School (MPP, Class of 2022), from Southfield, MI. He holds a B.A. in political science from Bowling Green State University, and his work revolves around urban housing, affordable development, and displacement solutions. At CLOSUP he has analyzed civic discourse among urban and rural places, fiscal states of municipalities, and is working now to modernize financial reporting in Michigan. He looks forward to utilizing these experiences as he begins his career in urban development, housing, and city management in the settings of Chicago and Detroit.
